Paper 1:
 2-3 pages, double spaced, typed, 12 point font.
 Choose one or two poems covered in class and analyze/discuss how the poem(s) work: the structure/form, the sound devices used, diction, images, tone.  Discuss how these techniques help create the overall effect of the poem.  If you choose to cover 2 poems, you must draw connections (compare/contrast) between them, for a unified essay.
 Do not use any outside resources (research), only cite the poem(s), by line numbers.
