As a constituent, you have the right to voice whether you’re in favor or not of certain measures, and request that your elected representative take action. Throughout the semester you have had the opportunity to learn about how certain policies shape our healthcare system. Presently, healthcare reform is a key issue and has impacted the opinions and voting patterns of constituents. If you do not already know who your elected representatives are please visit: https://www.house.gov/representatives AND https://www.senate.gov/senators/index.htm.

Once you have identified one of your own representatives (this is based on where you are registered to vote), research their views and voting history as it pertains to healthcare reform and draft a letter advocating in favor of or not the Affordable Care Act. After drafting your letter, post it to the discussion board.
