For this essay, you will develop an original argument in response to the questions: What is the purpose of a party? What makes a party good/successful? For example, is the purpose of a party to have fun, to socialize, to network, to connect, to drink, or something else entirely? Your essay should be atleast 3 full pages in length and incorporate MLA guidelines (especially for in-text citations and the Works Cited Page). Essays should synthesize information from at least 2-3 sources. Essays should be typed, double-spaced, with Times New Roman, size 12 font, and 1-inch margins on all sides. Please also make sure that your essay includes your name, course number, date and assignment in the upper left hand corner; in the upper right hand corner, insert your last name and page numbers.
